I found the panel physician handbook explaining grading as well. It appears eMedicals are mostly automatic, the system will generate a B grade based on your answers, but it's not known which or how many generate this. It's also interesting that a dr can give an A grade but change it to a B, but not the other way round. http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/index.asp#chap4.4

As I said yes to the ongoing condition I believe it prompted her to answer more questions about the diagnosis etc. It will be interesting to see my report when it comes through. A B grade doesn't cause automatic inadmissibility, but it's still not fun!

thank you kryt0n for creating this thread.
I am stressful about my medical condition too, i have PCOS i.e hormonal imbalance and leads to fertility issues. I disclosed this to doctor and he gave a medical grading B for examination.i am scared that this might cause a issue or delay in PR application.

For my medicals, they have asked me to bring photos. So does that mean it's a paper based clinic and doctor would finalize the grading? I read that emedical clinics click a photo through software.

Does it also mean that I should expect a delayed processing due to paper based stuff? Anyone here has had any experience with paper based panel physician?

Okay, thank you! Sometimes I feel ignorance is bliss. Things like grading are a lot a know about, particularly when it does nothing more than adding more stress to heads!

It's quite simple process. If the panel Dr finds anything fishy he will call the applicant and retake the test. Believe me Dr s want us to have clear medical report and always help us. There is nothing to worry about unless someone has a real history of tests specified. Rest all is fine.

Hi guys, I found this today https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwiHlLKayPbRAhVBCMAKHRS1A8gQFggaMAA&usg=AFQjCNETIP2-q9G69Xp4OuqErAtpv9IlhQ

It outlines the follow up tests and forms if you answer yes to any of the questions in the medical as well as the general process of the medical.

Thanks for the pdf. So from pdf, for kids less than 5 years with no known issues, I believe only physicals are done. No blood work or imaging tests.

Wow, now that's pretty in depth exam! To anyone who's had the exam, is this all completed in one visit?
