I have exact same profile as you. I got same email saying your file is in queue to process, but doesn't say it may take month as far as I know they don't write such a things. Few things I wanna tell you, you should apply work permit extension paper file it takes 4-5 month to process with a letter from your employer by this you can work on implied status, moreover you will comply with Bc pnp requirement which is retain employment status while your file is getting processed at any cost you shouldn't leave a job. BC pnp taking 4.5 months for processing a files rite now as my consultant talk to BC PNP. So you must be getting pnp next week for sure if they didn't object anything related to you employment. One more thing you can read requirement of work permit supporting letter it clearly says we will issue you a work permit supporting letter if you applied to CIC with letter from employer.
Thanks
Well ..... i ran out of work permit in july .. and applied for extend to stay visa (processing time 103 days.. so no result yet )
I dint applly for work permit extn as the result wud be 100% rejection coz they dont extnd pgwp and i dont hv lmia .And rejection would happen b4 i get pnp result( its 60 days as per cic ) . And as per welcome bc ... u shud have a legal status while u receive pnp to get the work permit support letter .
I have no intension of going into restoration status . So extnd to stay visa seems to b a safe play . Also my employer still has the job offer still open for me (which is the main critiria for ee bc pnp international catogary) . So i am still holding that position , but not working as i dont hv legal status to do so .
So hopfully things move soon before i run out of my savings
