It is extremely interesting to read the last few comments on this thread, which were written not so long ago when the cutoff scores were in the range of 470+. Let us keep the hope alive people. Our days will surely come...cheers!!

Our time is COMING SOON;)

Oh Yes! :D

Can't wait for 25th Jan's draw.

Folks,

Happy New Year 2017

Please pray for us in 430 bracket. I am waiting with 434. Just 25 points away....but dont know how many applicants are in between.

Thank you,
Pawshi

Hello,

I am in the express entry pool with 442. I did a foolish mistake by not getting my wife's education evaluated earlier. I am now doing that (will be getting transcripts from Delhi University by end of this month and then will submit to WES). Does anyone know if I can added dummy values on the express entry application now and will provide the actual evaluation copy during application (if i get picked, will have 3 months to submit application). With the current trend I am really hoping the score goes below 450 and I don't want to miss the boat (adding my wife's education will get me to 450). Let me know. Thanks.

No you cannot do that IMO, while entering wife's ECA details , ee also asks for WES reference number. If you enter a dummy value and get ITA, the same will be locked and won't be able change. Of course you can change in post ITA application, but there will be a discrepancy. Better to avoid that.

This preempt would be considered misrepresentation. Why to fake just to get the ITA? Either have the ECA process complete and then update or wait for the ITA at 442. Scores are falling anyhow and it will continue.

Also, think from this perspective. You update the score and receive the ITA. However, ECA is not complete and you have to reject the ITA. This means some one else who was more deserving than you have been at denied ITA.

Well, lets just say that even if there is a remote chance that your application gets through despite the 'misrepresentation' yet you would have to spend numerous sleepless nights under the fear of getting rejected...I say follow the correct path. All the best!!

Thanks for your inputs guys. You have confirmed the thought process that I was leaning towards. I specially don't want to take a spot for someone who is more deserving. I hope that score will come down soon and to have my documentation complete. Thanks for your help.

With the hope of score coming down soon, I want to be prepared with my documentation. Have a question regarding police certificate (please excuse me if that is already answered, but i searched this forum and couldn't find anything)

- For Indians residing in US, I know we need policy certificate from Indian embassy. Do I also need a certificate from FBI? (Residing in US since past 2.5 yrs)
- Do we need to get these certificates for spouse also?

Let me know. Thanks in advance.

Of course, you have to submit a FBI PCC. If your spouse has spent more than 6 months in the US/currently in the US, then s/he has to submit a FBI PCC too.

I am currently having a score of 450 and residing in US with ~2Years experience. Having no other way to increase my score other than giving TEF(I don't plan to venture for that), How easy is to get a PNP for individuals like me. I have never been to Canada. Are there any provinces that extend/allow foreigners like me? Highly appreciate inputs.
