448 here. I am hopeful that OINP will open in January. Also, I am praying that good sense prevails and IRCC brings the cut off lower in 2017(at least to 448 )

Keep an eye out for SINP as well (if your NOC matches). They are faster to process as well (and cheaper :D)

I am at 440 lost hope. Will probably apply for a Masters in Canada, and try to score some extra points like that.

Should I have all the documents uploaded already or I can just apply when it is open and provide the documents later? Because I don't have the medical exam and police clearance translations yet.

SINP application will not ask for Medicals & Police clearance. These will be required only post ITA.
However, you would need the remaining docs like work experience, education, IELTS, PoF, passport, etc.

Kindly note that there is huge difference between CLB8 and CLB 9 scores in IELTS. CLB 9 can fetch you 25+25+8=58 points more than your existing CRS Points with CLB 8 scores.

I understand 25+ 25 is for skill transferability. But what is +8 for CLB 9 ?

+8 points is for difference between cbl 8 and cbl9 skill. you can check that score for clb9 and 10 is rather higher than score for cbl 8. so it can be even more than 58 points in total if you have more than one skill under cbl 9 now.

Yesterdays draw closed at 475. I am wondering will it ever go beyond 450 in next year :( ?

I believe I heard many times that the goal IRCC has is to make the cut off scores around 400-410...but when will that happen? that's the question...

Also, I don't have a reference for that, as I said it is something I remember reading over and over...but could be just my mind playing with me :)

This one is for each IELTS module band score (2x4=8) for an increase from CLB 8 to CLB 9

Keep it alive!
Everyone around 440-450 should hang in there, cuz good days are coming. :D
