Ahh man that sucks. 447 has a very good chance though if what they are saying is true(about the points coming down) Anyway... I am currently working on my french as well. I intend to take the TEF around the same time you intend to, I'm doing fairly well with reading/listening practices but speaking remains an issue for me(I cannot find the words I need in my head quickly enough to hold a conversation easily) would you be interested in practicing together?

I'm not that good at speaking myself right now, but once I can actually form an understandable sentence in French I'll let you know, lol. I actually started taking classes before I knew about the French Skilled Worker stream, I wanted to learn for personal reasons. I'm started off at the Alliance Francaise, and now I'm in a smaller private class.

I haven't seen them (or been able to find them), and I checked the ministerial instructions. Doesn't look like there was a draw today.

Hi everyone.. I have a CRS of 428 and was planning to apply for OINP when it reopens.. But i have been hearing and reading speculations that they will increase cut off to 450 instead of 400... What will all the people below 450 and no job offer do? Especially people like me who are in a regulated profession. :(

Hi Sheeba

I am at 441.

Nobody really knows what exactly will happen, all we could do is wait & hope that it turn out in our favor.

Another thing could be that they might increase cutoff to level of lets say 425 & not up to 450.However, all these are speculations & nothing is known for sure.

So much of gossip is moving around, it really blow the mind... :(

Hi Friends,
Am with 408 score. I never see any draw close to this score so i might have to try for PNP Nominations . Any idea soon any Providences will open ?

Regards,
Sri

My fingers are crossed that they don't take the cut off beyond 425 :(

There are options - SINP, PEI, NB .

Check this - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html;msg5295212#msg5295212

Think the SNIP is currently closed, but thanks for the PEI one - I had missed that and it's worth a shot if it's just an email with interest, right?

Sat at 440 points here (down from 445 in April because it seems at 30 I'm getting on a bit...)

I don't understand that their optimal candidate is

28 years old with a PHD and at least 3 years experience in a high level field that you usually have to build up to.

So you have an 18 year old, 7 years for a PHD, so 25, then 1 year of working your way up to a fantastic high level job. Oh, and also being fluent in English AND French.

Come on guys, your average Canadian likely has a Bachelors at most. Why expect more from foreigners if your own people can't live up to the standards??? </rant>

Hello! It is a very useful post, thanks. My score is 401. I was wondering if anyone with a similar score has already got ITA or NOI from OINP?? Is there any hope to get OINP with this score?
I would very much appreciate it if you could share your experience about this. Thanks!

Probably a bears fault. It knocked over the ballot box and pooped on it so they have spent the week making a new one.
