My score is 435 and i am planning to apply for PNP .I have few questions here :

1)when is the 1500 $ fees to be paid to get PNP (ontario - NOC 2271) ,is it only after you get it or when you apply ?
You have to submit the payment with your application. The payment is nonrefundable
2)If i apply for PNP and in the meantime i get a ITA from CEC will i have to still pay that fees for PNP ?
You pay when you apply for OOPNP. If you receive the ITA you just forget about your money
3)Any suggestions whether i should go fr PNP or not ?
If you have other ways it's up to you. I did not go for OOPNP. I applied for SINP and will try to improve my IELTS. In my country 1500$ is a lot of money. I am not going to risk it.

My score is 419 too.

To be honest, I am starting to loose hope about it.

Think about it, 13 draws so far, a total of 16025 invitations have been sent. The required score dropped to a minimum of 451 only once, yet, every 3 weeks or so, there are around 1500 new applications in the 460 + region.

In my opinion, there are at least 20,000 applications in the range of 420 to 450... which makes it almost impossible to get an ITA unless the CIC ups its invitations to more than 5000 per month.

anyway, guessing doesn't help, we just have to wait and see.

Agree with you, even i had similar calculation in my mind. This huge back log will get cleared only if CIC does another draw in this month. Since they do only 2/ month - this would be dream.

Other hopes are :
1) CIC has to give more invitations if they want to cover up their required numbers
2) People in the range 420+ getting province nominations or getting higher score. Thus making their score above 450 reducing the back log.

Since i applied in July first week, will wait till Aug end for Ontario nomination, else will write IELTS again(current overall score 7).

Btw I am waiting at 430

For the point#3, think we need to get the invite/nomination from the province first in our profile. We cant apply without getting that in our profile.

You are mistaken. You should check all provinces' requirements and if you meet them, you can apply. Only Ontario requires invitation in your profile to apply

I was hoping the draw cut off drops to around 430-432 in the to ignore Ontario's application and save 1500 CAD. what do you guys think?

No one can say for sure Hani..it is all up to you and how much risk you want to take...and how much you want this PR and how much you are ready to invest in it! And most importantly can you spare 1500 CAD for this risk! I am replying to you because I have exactly the same points and I have applied for OOPNP...not sure if I will get the PNP still I had to give it a try or I would always wonder had I applied what would be the scenario!

You are mistaken. You should check all provinces' requirements and if you meet them, you can apply. Only Ontario requires invitation in your profile to apply

Btw I had worked in Ontario for more than a year, can i apply for other provinces too.

Thanks for your reply Sita, i think i will wait for next draw (or maybe 2 draws) to see how the CRS points cut off line move and apply 7-10 days before the end of the 45 days if it doesn't seem encouraging, I have till the 14th of August to apply.

Hi Hani, Can you please tell me after how many days you got the invitation. I created my profile in first week of this month, have not received it yet. Have a years exp in Ontario and with 430 score. Is there anything else to be done apart from creating EE profile.

application fee will be paid when you get ita, you'll get the ita once ontario sends you an invitation which will boost your 435 to 1035. you can also pay rpfp which is refundable. application fee however is non refundable..
2)If i apply for PNP and in the meantime i get a ITA from CEC will i have to still pay that fees for PNP ?
if you get ita for cec then you will not be available for other streams such as pnp
3)Any suggestions whether i should go fr PNP or not ?
if you plan to move around canada in the next few years then go for cec. but if you're planning to stick to ontario then go for pnp.

Yes you can, you just have to read carefully the requirements. Only Manitoba is very tough in case of ties to other provinces.

yes! go for it!! in the past 7 months the lowest has been 451 points and there are still a lot of people waiting for ita. yes you will pay more, but there's no guarantee that if you decline this again you'll get another shot at an ita. with the invitation for oopnp your points are now at 1034, do not waste it.
