Educational loan query

According to University checklist I have to take CAD$10,000 educational loan from the designated Bank.

Is it necessary for me to take the educational loan or my father can take the loan for me, since I do not have any bank guarantee, It will be difficult for the bank to give me loan directly. However they can give the loan easily to my father who his having bank guarantee in the name of him.

Please help if Bank educational loan can be taken in the name of my father

Hi,

Education loan is always in the name of the student and the joint holder is a family member.
So in this case the loan will be in your name and your father will be co-signer.

Your father's bank guarantee will be accepted.

Its better to talk to the bank loan manager once and clarify the process.
