Educational Credential Assessment

Hello Guys,
Do you have to provide educational credential assessment when you first enter Express Entry Pool? I am graduate of a well known US university and i am sure it will get certified. My score is around 450 and i am not if i should spend 2x200 $ for equivalency.

Is it acceptable to get this after ITA is issued?

You cannot create your EE profile without an ECA and IELTS results.

Any foreign degree for which you want to claim points has to be assessed by an institution designated by CIC. If you create and submit your profile without an ECA, it will make your profile ineligible. Once your profile becomes ineligible you will have to create a new profile.

I successfully submitted my EE profile with a dummy ECA ID whilst i await WES evaluation.

Do you think my profile will become invalid?

thats ok, I'm hoping to have the ECA completed by the time of the ITA. I also should have a further a 45 days from the ITA to send in my Docs. I have used the WES tool to determine my Canadian equivalency. So im not exactly submitting false information.

IELTS is a long story, basically I had my online results but they were then withheld for 2 weeks for quality purposes. I have now added the ID from the TRF form into my EE profile.

I just didnt want to miss out on any PNP programms whilst waiting on ECA & IELTS.
My current WES status is "Documents received - review in progress" So hopefully it will be completed soon.

You're missing the point that you are essentially lying to the Canadian government by providing false data in the system. Which isn't exactly a moral or ethical thing to do, and one that if discovered, CIC is unlikely to look highly upon.

If you are applying under FSW it's a requirement. If you apply under CEC, it's not mandatory but you wouldn't like to miss the extra CRS points that you get with ECA. You must have them done BEFORE ITA. 450 points it's really not much, I would spend 2x200$...
