Education requirement for OOPNP

Hello guys ,

Just have a quick question regarding education requirement for this new Human Capital Priorities Stream . I have done 2 years of Advance Diploma (Computer and Network Support Technician Course ) from a well reputed Humber College in Ontario . I 'd like to know if I am eligible for this new stream or not . I'm almost done with my one year experience for CEC and have a plan to file a PR in this coming July . Please guys shed some light on this as the instructions in the ON PNP website is pretty vague .

Hello,

Over education wise - you are eligible BUT over experience wise - you are NOT - as even if you have the experience of 11 months and 30 days (instead of 31 days to make 12 months in total), you are not eligible.

You have bachelors degree? If not, then you are not eligible.

Thanks guys for your wise thoughts . No , it's not a bachelor's degree but 2 year advance diploma that makes me eligible for CEC category at first place . I'm sure that there would be so many others who are sailing in the same boat as I am . A genuine request to those who already got their PTs to share their education qualifications to make things more apparent here .

Although OOPNP application guide clearly states that education must be minimum Bacholer Degree.However some people including me got inviitation under this program with three year advanced diploma.

Still not sure if i can apply for it trying to contact OOPNP to clear this out.

Please do let us know through this forum if you receive any sort of information in regards to this topic as It would be really helpful for most of us (Specifically International Students) whose fate is currently behind the eight ball .

If anyone apply for OONP without a Bachelor Degree ;
There are many drwabacks:

-its sure they will reject it and they can says its clearly mentioned on their requirements
-also we wont be getting the fee back. ($1500)

So I am really confused because above 400 is a good score and there is a chance the score will come down.

I am not spreading any fake news.. But still its not clear what do they mean by this. Explain if you can.

Page 3 first paragraph in application guide for oopnp..
If you accept invitation for express entry your fees will not be returned for oopnp so it means you will be in the pool even after applying

check other threads... they say the same...most of them says we cant be in the pool while they process it..
Because 2 programs cant process our docs same time.
