I have a 4 year bachelor degree and 1 year post graduate degree. The WES said my 1 year degree is not recognized in Canadian equivalency. My result said in equal to canada 4 year bachelor.

When I enter my education details post ITA, should I enter the 1 year post graduate degree or not since it's not recognized?

Enter both the degrees as the time spent in the post graduate degree will be mentioned your personsl history.

After entering both the degrees mention canadian equivalency for your bachelor's degree. You will get points for that.

The moment I enter the post graduate degree, my CRS goes up by 1 point. But, I think I should not be getting that 1 point, since that post graduate degree is not recognized as Canadian equivalent as per WES. I wouldnt want any points for my post graduate degree, but I dont want to make a mistake by not entering it. thats why, I am trying to understand how to handle this - not enter the post graduate degree or not?

score in post ITA forms do go up. My wife had a BS and MS. She got the result similar to yours in assessment. But the score went up cause the system calculates marks based on entered qualification. Seems like a bug to me. But that score is for applicant's own assessment and CIC will calculate scores on thier own.

We ignored that score and entered all the info accurately. Anyway, the score is going up and nott lower :).

You can wait for others opinion and then make a decision.
