Hi,

I need some help in understanding the education criteria when creating an express entry profile- I have a Masters Degree from the United States and a Bachelors degree from India, do I actually need to include my Bachelor's degree in the EE application? As my understanding is, we would get points based upon our highest degree which in my case would be for Masters's degree and not my Bachelor's. Getting my transcripts sent to WES for my Institute in India is a big hassle.

You can just submit the Master's degree for WES verification, as a US degree is equivalent to a Canadian masters - so don't need your bachelor's as a backup to claim points for two or more degrees. You can just put the Masters in your EE profile. When filling out the application, if you graduated over 10 years ago, you can completely exclude your bachelor's. Otherwise just mention it in your personal history.

Hi Aamool,

I appreciate the response, but I do not see the Personal History field in my application. All I see are the below forms;
Personal details Complete
Contact details Complete
Study and languages Complete
Application details Complete
Representative Complete
Work history

Please advise.

I take it you are only creating your profile now, right?

The personal (and travel and address) history are only required when you fill in your actual application after you are invited to apply.

Hey guys!

I have a Date of Birth (DOB) error on my Secondary school Certificate. For example, 13th January 1991instead of 13th January 1992. At the moment, the body in charge do not issue a new certifcate, so I was advised to get a court affidavit. My secondary school certificate was part of the documents submitted to WES based on my country's WES requirement. I added the court affidavit, but, to my surprise, WES did not acknowledge the affidavit. Therefore, the wrong Date of Birth was written on my ECA report. Please how can I go about this by the time I am submitting my application for EE Post -ITA?

P.S: The date of Birth on my Birth Certificate correlates with the one on my Intertional Passport. Thank you
