Trends in our local zone shows that after the written exam, then another 3 months of waiting time for the Oath Taking ceremony.
I heard CIC Edmonton office is trying to speed it up before the CZ judge takes on a looonng summer vacation again.
Gotta love Deadmonton!!!
 
My time line is as follows:

Received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on JUNE 2012.

We started processing your application on JUNE 2013.

Sent to local office (Edmonton) AUGUST 2013

Up until now still waiting for written exam invitation.
 
it seems the processing slow in Edmonton office.

application received:April 4,2013
start processing: July 4,2013

Then...no update until now.(Feb. 2014)

In process March 2013 (took ix weeks for e-cas to appear)
Nothing since then. Ordered GCMS notes a couple of weeks ago at my application "anniversary" (boo!) - I guess they will email them to me exactly 30 days after the request!

I'm still waiting here for my test invitation.

please let us know the time for recent oath takers from the time the test was taken to the oath letter for recent Edmonton folks .
