Hi,

Anyone here from Edmonton,Alberta?

My question is I applied in June,2019.

File reached on 24th June,2019.

Citizenship test cleared on Jan 20,2020 from Edmonton.

Application status is showing decision made from February 2020 onward but no call for oath or date yet.

Anyone having same timeline or any updates?

I can see some movements in Ontario & even in Calgary office with same timeline but nothing here in Edmonton.

Anyone who has got same timeline or updates regarding Virtual Oath/dates can throw some light.

Thanks,

I applied March 2019, test taken in October then CIT 0520. Decision made since early March, still nothing from them yet.

same for me. DM since February 2020 but nothing going on since then.
In my ECAS it was mentioned before that a decision has been made.
Later they removed that line from ECAS and now it is only showing exam given in January 2020.

So they reversed the application to in process status again, if so did you call the call center to investigate as to why?

Hi,

It is still showing decision made outside but when I click that status, inside-the line is gone which was like"a mail will be sent/has been sent about decision on application."
The another strange thing is that my wife's ECAS is showing" in process" and we both gave exam on same day, same time & even we were interviewed together.
Last month I sent them case specific inquiry and as per them Edmonton office is working on our application and nothing is needed at this time.

I am not understanding you because when decision is made, Ircc does not add any line, so there is non to removed.

It could mean the grant was rejected?

"Decision Made - ..If we refused your application, you don’t meet the requirements for citizenship. We’ll send you a letter by registered mail explaining why."

How did you derive this negative conclusion?

It does not mean application is rejected.

I sent them case specific inquiry last month and they said It's in process but delayed due to Covid.

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are happy to provide you with information that will help you understand the current status of your Application for Canadian Citizenship.

  • Your application is currently at the IRCC office in Edmonton. This office is verifying if you meet the eligibility requirements to be granted Canadian citizenship. Rest assured that you will be contacted if additional information is needed.
  • The next step will be to invite you to attend the citizenship ceremony. The local office will schedule an appointment for you in due course, if necessary.
  • We recommend that you verify the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) online tool regularly to see when a new notice is sent to you.
Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Should you need to travel during this time, please ensure to hold a valid permanent resident card.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

I didn’t derive any conclusions. I was asking maybe it could be based on your message that it now says a mail will be sent and what it says on the website. Under normal circumstances it would just say Decision Made and you’d get an oath invite.

Based on this new info you just provided it seems that letter is an Oath invitation!

Let us know what the mailed letter says. Good luck to you!

I have the same timeline, more or less (app sent late June 2019, test in January 2020).
my original ceremony date was March 31st in Edmonton, but then the covid showed up, so it was cancelled last minute.
I just received an email: I have my New ceremony via Zoom on August 5th (next week). It’s very bitter sweet... I wish I would have been able to have a full oath ceremony experience, but well. I’ll do it alone from my living room!
I didn’t ask for any urgent my processing either.
