Well, my file should be in Edmonton now, cause the fingerprint request is from the Edmonton office. I called CIC this morning asking about the transfer date, but the agent didn't want to help. Will call them tomorrow again.

Letter from Edmonton does not mean that your file is in Edmonton. A lot of times the request comes from the local office as oppose to Sydney while the application is still in Sydney!

Update us tomorrow when you call in!

Thanks for letting me know. How can I make them to bring up my file? This agent wasn't very cooperative. I started talking about fingerprint and asked if my case was non-routine. But when I asked about date of transfer, he said: "this is irrelevant."

Called cic today they said everything is good on my file. Now it's up to my local office edmonton to request a test. And edmonton is the slowest of all
