Edmonton applicant Oct. 2017 after C6

I had my test last February 09th. My application status changed to DM last March 15th. Been checking my ECAS since then but no update regarding my oath taking ceremony so I decided to contact call center and the agent told me my ceremony date is on April 10th.

This is good. Congrats. I am in DM status since Feb 16th and still nothing. I called them today and I am told there is no update and need to wait.....

Usually Edmonton send the invite 2 weeks before the ceremony

Thanks for reply. i had my test done 31 Jan and DM since 1 feb. But still no oath.

But she said dont expect it not until I have my oath invitation. Kinda confusing for me what she said. It’s either I am on that ceremony or not.

Weird. She shouldn't give such conflicting information. As a call centre agent, she is not in a place to decide or guess. Only give the info about what's in your file.

Good morning guys!!! So after 3 month wait, I got an email invitation for Oath taking on April 10th at 830am. I am very happy today because it is a good news for everyone.! My ECAS hasn’t updated yet but I already got the email! I am sure most of us will be getting their invite as well. Let’s all be positive!!

I also got my DM same day as yours and nothing regarding the oath yet.
It’s certainly nerve wrecking for me as I had a recent bad experience with them by having my file sitting aside for 2 months while watching everyone who applied after me moving forward.
Hopefully will get our oath invite soon.

Hi guys, It is much more depressing for me. I applied in Sept 2017 (not urgent based on the 4 out of 6), did my test on Dec 8th, ecas updated to DM on Dec 15th. I have been waiting since then without any update on my oath invite.
