My test was on 15 feb. and DM on 16 feb. I applied early September but it was stuck for quite some time at one stage before the exam for no apparent reason. I’m sure your invite is on the way for this April.

I see there’s 10 ceremonies in April. I was told each ceremony can hold up to 90 new citizens. So there’s a capacity to cover up to 900.. I heard of people who were notified about their ceremonies while being interviewed. Some have notes on their files and knew about their dates by calling...

That means I was in the same test as yours. I also got DM on Feb 16th. There were 3 officers that day. Was she the young one who interviewed you?! There were two other relatively older officers. One sitting on the opposite side to the young one, while the other was sitting in the back of the hall.

Apart from security check and cases still under process, how about some people who already got DM long ago but are still waiting for oath invitations while hearing about others who already got oath invites (although they sat for tests and got DM after them). Common sense says approved...

I have no explanation in this messed up process except that it all depends on the officer responsible of our files. Seems some officers are more effecient and more keen to close their cases faster than others .. while those others are lagging behind and still feel satisfied that they are still...

I also got my DM same day as yours and nothing regarding the oath yet. It’s certainly nerve wrecking for me as I had a recent bad experience with them by having my file sitting aside for 2 months while watching everyone who applied after me moving forward. Hopefully will get our oath invite soon.

Weird. She shouldn't give such conflicting information. As a call centre agent, she is not in a place to decide or guess. Only give the info about what's in your file.

Yeah.. I saw that. However,only one day in whole April doesn’t make sense. So probably they would add more days. They just might have not updated the oath schedule website for Edmonton. Better give them a call to confirm your date :) Cheers

Outrageous!!!! So, they haven’t requested additional info and are still keeping it on hold for no reason?!! Give a call to their call centre and ask for the lastest notes written in your application by the officer after your exam date. No systemic process whatsoever in Edmonton office!!
