Just to say a quick hello to all participants of this topic...

... and ask are there any civil/structural engineers present on this site?
Has anyone went through P.Eng licensing process?

Hi all seniors and friends,

Good day. As I am waiting for my PR cards now after landed on 28th Sept 2015 at Vancouver, I am thinking that as Vancouver is difficult to find job, I should land to Alberta? I am currently working as a Electrical and Electronics Engineer at Oil and Gas field in Singapore and working experience about 11 years.

Moreover, in order to get P.Eng to work as engineer in Canada,my application at APEGBC is half way now and waiting to take PPE when I permanently back to canada .

I just want to know as I don't have Canada experience one year, before got P.Eng license , should I get certificate for redsea or similar one?

If don't have P.Eng license, still can find job? Let me have your advice. Thanks.

Regards,
Myat

Hi friends,

Anyone who is going to take P.Eng (Electrical) from Alberta or British Columbia (APEGBC) , let make some connection with me. As I need old PPE exam questions and answer for my coming PPE exam, please let me have.
Currently I am at outside of Canada and waiting for our PR cards to send to me from my friend in Canada.
After received PR cards, around Feb 2016, I am still not sure where should I land? I am a electrical and electronics enginner , NOC:2133 and which is the best place to land for electrical engineer ? And befire get P.Eng license , should I get redsea or journey man in order to work as a technician to get one year Canada experience? Please alert me have some advice. Or do you know any WhatsApp group for settler for alberta or BC? Thanks.

Hi,

We are planning to land in edmonton by march next year, what do you think, is march is favorable? We are family of 4(me, my wife, 1 toddler and 1 infant). What would be the requirements to show in the airport during landing? I am a civil planning engineer but i think it is difficult to find my profession in edmonton now. But i am also willing to get survival jobs as of the moment, is survival jobs is easy to find?

Please give insight, Thank you.

It is nice to know people are helping each other, and it really matters when no one knows you and some some listens to you and tries to help you out. Good for new commers. Keep it up.
