You could call them once you are on the 3 month mark from your P2. They may or may not expedite it.is there anything we can do? any contact information or anything.
its only been 1 week after P2.You could call them once you are on the 3 month mark from your P2. They may or may not expedite it.
It's the only number to contact IRCC. And if you call just after waiting for a week, nothing's gonna happen. Some October P2s got their eCoPRs today and some are still left to date. So, I'd advise to be patient!its only been 1 week after P2.
should i use the same IRCC number to contact if i need to?
Thanks for the follow-up. My wife received eCOPR yesterday but her picture and address are still in review status with IRCC. My question is, do I have to apply for my wife's PR after receiving eCOPR, or will they automatically send it to us? Also, do you know how long it takes to process PR card these days?@ABWAQAR Did you receive any update? like @unforgettableseries mentioned, might be worth ordering GCMS notes, if you haven't done so
Hi. Good to hear from you. You do not need to apply for a PR card (for the first time). Please try linking the PR card application to the gckey to get some idea of when they will deliver it to you. I can't say how long, sorry! Thanks for the follow-up. My wife received eCOPR yesterday but her picture and address are still in review status with IRCC. FYI - I paid about $5,000 for hospital bills in September 2024. I applied for an OHIP card but Service Ontario asked for an AIP for my wife. I showed them my AIP (Eligible to sponsor as I am a Canadian citizen) and also my wife's online eligibility as approved, but they did not accept it. Her online Eligibility status was changed in May 2024. Anyway, I will apply for reimbursement of medical bills, which most likely won't work, but I will give it a try.
There is more to the story here. If you showed the AIP, there is no legal reason for them to deny you. Thanks for the follow-up. i don't know why you have to make a big deal out of it?There is more to the story here. If you showed the AIP, there is no legal reason for them to deny you.
What are the facts here? Did you lawfully submit the required documents to receive an Ontario (or your respective province) Health Card? Do you have a Health Card?
Honestly I don't believe your story. If you have a valid AIP and present it at a ServiceOntario office there is no reason you can be denied. There are anecdotal stories of this happening but I call B-S.
What was the reason they "did not accept it". They will not just turn you away. 100% false story.
Sorry the story seems to have holes.
There are sites that tell you processing times, and of course they I'll automatically send you the card. Do you even read what they send? I don't understand how you can become a Canadian Citizen without even being able to read English.
When I got my AIP, the first service Ontario denied me a health card. So I walked into another service Ontario, there was no problem at all. Maybe some people at service Ontario just don't know what they are doing or are racists. There is more to the story here. If you showed the AIP, there is no legal reason for them to deny you.

You are right. I remember reading his comments and he said he didn't receive the AIP letter and he did send a webform or something but he didn't receive any response...i don't know why you have to make a big deal out of it?
if you read his reply carefully i believe he didn't have the actual AIP, only SA and the tracker show eligibility is completed
i never have an actual AIP either
That poster received an "AIP" of the sponsor. Which is normally referred to SA.When I got my AIP, the first service Ontario denied me a health card.
