I have been seeing this ECAS thing everywhere and I have no clue about it, I already sent in my application for PR. Can someone explain what ECAS is.

it will take a while for ECAS to get activated. possibly 3-4 weeks

my ecas was useless - didnt give any info in the entire process

mycic wasnt much better. Went from app submitted to medicals passed after 1 week, then nothing for 3 months until it changed to approved.

Lotusesp : how long did it take you to get PR from the time of application?

That's Good lotusEsp. Do you know how much time it takes for Background check from "In Progress" to "Complete"? I got last update on July 14, 2015 which was medical passed and Background check in process. No updates after that, not even ECAS? When can i expect to get ECAS updated?
