Ecas not working

I received a reply from Canada High Commission today.. (to my case specific inquiry).. .background checks are in progress and there is no timeline in which the all procedures will be completed....

Just received email today from CHC, New Delhi.

My PR Visa application has been approved and the passports along with other documents are sent by registered mail on 20Feb2013. It will take 8-10 days to receive them.

The email is sent in response to my CSQ earlier around 5-6 times in the last 3 months.

BTW, my e-CAS is still not working .....

Yes I did have travel history. I stayed twice in US on H1B Visa. I had traveled many times between India and USA.
Also I did work in Dubai for around 3 and odd months. I had traveled recently to Singapore for couple of weeks on Visitor Visa.

My In process data is February 9th 2012. Original application filed in February 2010.

This is very frustrating and annoying that a person cant do much after submitting passports. NDVO should speed up the process and not keep passports for months.. this is a very important document/identity for anybody on this planet..

Thanks Ann. Hoo ... yeah! I just received my visa with COPR by registered post.

I am ready to fly ....

But for the last week or 10 days, my e-CAS was not working .... It is still not working ...

But the visa is in my hand ....

I applied in June 2010 under 0213 Computer Application Manager working on SAP HCM.
received 1st AOR on 21 October 2010 than 3rd August Letter from LVO
25th April 2012 i got an update on ECAS that letter has been sent to you and Case status changed to DM.
No letter came and i applied CAIPS notes in May 2012 received case notes in june 2012 some where which stated very bad comments by Visa officer which bottom line was to issue refund process. On feb 07 2013 from some London Office i got medical request from no where along with request of PCC Saudi Arabia and RPRF with updated Im0008.

Congratulations for this big change in your case. Have you sent an appeal to the office before they sent you the medical request?
