We called after 2 days, which felt like 2 months. Led off with the truth, that as of September 1 I would be on implied status, lose OHIP, etc. I got a somewhat helpful guy right on the first call, who told me rather equivocally that my application was "on its way to approval" and "just needed to be confirmed." Others have called 5 or 6 times and gotten agents who won't say a thing every time.AshesNdust said:

i got DM on the same day as you. called a lot of times only one lady is willing to help and said sth pretty much like the agent talked to you.dobes said:

Called CIC a second time just now because I have a doctor's appointment coming up and am concerned about no longer having OHIP and not getting it back in time. This time the guy was much more cooperative, very nice, and told me it's APPROVED! He said I could get the final news "two minutes from now, two days, or two weeks...." but it did help a lot just to hear it's been approved.

Be patient and I don't know if that would help you or not, but I got my ITA on 27th of Feb not March.. I submitted the application on the 27th of March - so a whole month ahead of youdobes said:No problem, but thanks! but I agree, even with the pumps I've on my road, got it last week. From experience, no news are always good news...
