ECA through WES

Requesting for information regarding the below queries -

1. Do I need to attach the hard copy ECA report with express entry application? or attaching the electronic report will suffice the requirement?
2. I live in Bangladesh. So, it will take some time to get the hardcopy ECA report. For this reason, can I take report delivery at a canadian address? In that case should I mention the canadian person's contact number for delivery reasons?
3. How long it might take to complete the ECA report WES? Is there any faster options or should I stick with WES?

1.) No need of hard copy.

2.) Yes you can. Get it delivered to a Canadian address and then ask someone to send a scanned copy of the same to you.

3.) Right now WES is taking almost 45-50 days for ECA. They do not offer any expedite services. There are other agencies which do ECA too. You can compare their current timeline and make a call based on this.

Ya I was disappointed to know the timeline as well... I have checked all the websites and below are the official timelines mentioned on their site -

IQAS: 10 business days
WES: 20 business days
BCIT: 5 weeks
Comparative Education Service: 13 weeks
ICAS: 25-30 weeks

It seems like WES and IQAS are the only two viable options. Im going to use WES as I have seen quite a few correspondence with my educational institution. So, they are used to responding to queries from WES.

Can I put her Wes number where they ask for her Eva number or do I wait for the report to come before I put the number. By adding her Eva number I will get 416 points.

I will send the documents next week. When did you apply and which country r u from? I consulted an immigration agent and they mentioned that it takes atleast a month to complete ECA.

I have send my documents in the beginning of Feb, still processing. I am in Dubai, and going through an agent as well.

Yes they are taking some extra time. I sent my documents on 25th January and I am still waiting for my ECA report. My status is still "documents received - review in progress". I just need my ECA report to enter the pool.

IQAS has now changed their timelines. It takes 15 business days.

Please note that WES - 20 Business Day and IQAS - 15 Business Days is in reality about 1 month to 1.5 months since these are BUSINESS DAYS. Also for WES, the 20 Business Days start after the status changes to EVALUATION. They do not count the documents review period.

SO in many ways, the other ECA options that says 5 weeks is also viable. You need to allot between 4 to 8 weeks for the entire ECA Process!
