ECA Report: Two or more diploma or degree option

I have my ECA report which says 1. 2 years secondary high school diploma 2.Bachelors in computer engineering 4 years.
Should i choose 2 or more degree??

It depends on the equivalency. Which thread are you referring here? Was the equivalency exactly same as yours?

User: My WES report showing CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY as below:

"Diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (three years)"
According to my understanding, i'll get 22 points as per this education:
"Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas or equal (at least one must be for a program of at least three years)"
Am I right? Please help me.

I have seen people with same exactly 3 year Indian Engineering Diploma telling that their ECA said both as 1st and some told it was showing as 2nd.....and some said showing both in their ECA
So should we ask WES to list it as "Diploma (two years)" so that we can also claim as two degrees ?

1st - It says 2 years Diploma
2nd - It says 2 years secondary high school diploma

They are different and hence the answer was different.

If you can get the ECA equivalency changed to 2 years diploma, then you can claim points for 2 or more degrees too.

hello everyone , please i need clarification on something. i have a 6yr bachelors degree and a masters degree. does inputing both in the form increase my points and if it does how do i go about it. am asking because i filled the crs calculator with just one of them and the score i got is not different from what i got after filling the real application.i was expecting it to increase by some points since i now have 2 degrees and both are approved by WES. thanks

first is a profesional degree and the second is a masters degree.

Hi Everyone,
I have few queries regarding my ECA. My ECA result would most likely be like this;

-4 years Bachelors degree (2014) WES
- Post Secondary Diploma (2010) IQAS

I have two queires;
1. Is it ok to evaluate your credentials from two different bodies. In my case diploma from IQAS and Bachelors from WES?
2. Will I be able to get those 2 degrees points?

I got my ECA report last week, and I got the following equivalency:

Diploma (Two Years)
Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)

I created my EE profile and received two or more certificates category.

My education timeline was like this:

Started Diploma 2008 and finished 2011 ( it was 2.6 years, but it took me an extra semester to finish)
Started Bachelor's in 2011 and finished 2013. (it was three years program, but I got admitted as a lateral entry, so only did it in 2 years).

I have sent a query regarding this to WES and they reevaluated my credentials and issued a new report stating my summary as Diploma 2 Years and Bachelors Four Years. Now i can choose two or more option without any doubt.

Could you please explain what did you exactly tell them which resulted into changing evaluation report. What i am trying to understand is, there are many candidates in India with similar situation, and they how do we change evaluation report from High School Diploma to Diploma? If we simply ask them, they may just say it is evaluated correctly.

I have done 3 years Diploma from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (2006-2009)
and BE from Mumbai University (2009 - 2012)

I am yet to get my ECA but if I get evaluation of High School Diploma, how would I convince them to change it to Diploma?

I am 40years old and have a PhD, a 2-year masters and a 4-year bachelors degrees. My wife has a 2-year masters and a 4-year bachelors degrees and 36years old. We have not sat for the IELTS yet.

What are our chances for getting an ITA and what strategy would help us secure high points? Especially as regards ECA with WES.
