ECA report, PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello to all,

I have a problem, I sent with my application, a copy of my ECA report, because I missunderstood the information on the Documents checklist. Is it a problem if I send my ECA report original now, a week later (my application arrived to the office on june 24) appart from my application? Do I need to send an explanation of this problem? What exactly should I do?

I am not sure if you can send mandatory documents separately from the original package.

Please post this question in the FSW timeline to get further advise.

As it stands, your application will be returned to you by CIC.

Sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. The best way forward will be for you to wait for your application- it would come by snail mail. Then you have to reapply.
Unfortunately you cannot send mandatory forms seperately unless specified like Police clearance certificates.

i am from india so What was your approach to this situation did u send one more complete package or not ?

you can try send Original ECA score to CIO with an Explanation letter to consider 'Additional Documents' with your Original submission. You have nothing to loose but 1 Courier charges... if they dont Accept they will return it simply but imagine if they Accept you are bingo ! 8)

Well, I just sent my Original WES report, every part of my body crossed hoping for good news, didn't send a new application, because there's no time to get Police certificates and IELTS again, it takes to long, so I took the risk, that's my thinking. Hope every one in my situation gets lucky.

i am preparing the new application package i need to wait for 10 days for getting the IELTS rest all i have arranged.
The PCC in india which is offered they give two copies and rest i think should be handy with you cause u should be having a copy of things like passport DOB marriage certificate POF photos and experience letters.

The ECA is available with over night delivery if you 85$ for india location but total cost would be 185$ and IELTS in inida is providing second copy for CIC you need to provide the Passport used for writing the exam and copy of old IELTS.

So i leave it to you whether u would apply for extra ECA and IELTS in the mean time and as it is said the caps wont be filled even till late september or beyond so once you get another copy of ECA and IELTS you can prepare another set ready to be dispatched and in the mean time we all will come to whether they accept additional package or not.

I am into similar situation and i m preparing new package.

Keep us posted with the results it will help many of us to come to an conclusion whether to send additional document set if we miss out or prepare a fresh set of application which would save lot of time and effort.

Thank you, I will do that in the mean time, have nothing to loose. I did send my report now, because my profession is 2174, on of the fastests to fill. Here in Cuba we don't get a second copy of IELTS, and didn't get a second copy of my WES report neither, but everything, I mean EVERY LITTLE THING, is photocopied, just in case. Again, thank you all and I'll keep you posted. Also, I did send an explanation letter along with my consignment details from TNT hoping it would help.

Also, with this new application, do I need to make a new fee payment? what happens if I get accepted with my first application?

you mentioned that you haven't send a New application.... so where's the question of Fees ?

This is just Additional documents to be considered with your Original submission (which incl Fees as well). If they Accept your Additional documents to be included ... & your Application will be Complete.. the fees will be charged ! Else both of them will be returned separately at some point in time. Let hope for the positive

I hope you get all the best with your application. I would like to ask about what happened with your application after submitting your original ECA report, as I am in the same situation at the moment and I am very confused of what should I do. So, from your experience is it Ok to send the original ECA report separately?. Or to wait till they send back the application to me.

I look forward to hearing your advice from all of you experienced people.

If your application is already with CIC - you do not resend a NEW application. In this circumstance you will have to send "additional documents".

You only send a new application if your existing application has been rejected and/or returned.
