Hello all,

My WES report :

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY

Master's degree

CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS

Major/Specialization: Computer Science
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's and master's degree

Should I select Masters or two or more degrees, when filling up my EE profile ?
If I select 2 or more degress, I get 7 points lesser than Masters.

Kindly advice on this.

Select Masters.. I am in the same boat.. I have a MS and a MBA.. my report says Masters degree...A Masters degree gives you the higher points (8) you deserve but sadly in this system, 2 Masters degrees do not mean much..

The two or more degrees are for people who may have a diploma and a bachelor's, or two diplomas or two bachelors..

Tow or more is no more available as an option under EE anymore...so yes you need to choose Masters as per your ECA.

You select master's degree because that's what your equivalency says.

Yes, the calculator may still have it, but the actual EE profile creation doesn't. Anyway you are Masters so it doesn't matter.

Can anyone of you please help me? My IQAS report says:
------------------------------------------------------
Levels of achievement outside of Canada:

Pakistan:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
Four Year undergraduate degree program

Master of Business Administration
Two Year graduate degree program

Comparative levels of achievement in Canada:

The bachelor's degree generally compares to the completion of a four-year bachelor of science degree with focus in computer engineering

The master's degree generally compares to the completion of a Master of business administration degree with focus in management information systems
---------------------------------------------------

Can I select Masters? All 6 years of experience I have is related to bachelor's, not MBA. Does it matter?

I don't think you can choose Masters. For you to select Masters ECA should suggest it as Masters.

Hi, Two or more does exist still. In the calculator two or more is there to calculate your score. WHen completing the profile, you simply put in the education and if it counts for 2 or more it will give you the points, there is no option to select it, but you can still get points for it!

Sorry just to clarify:
While creating the EE profile

If one adds

row 1 -> Bachelor's (3 years)
+
row 2 -> Bachelor's (4 years)

This will still fetch the same points as it did in the past for selecting

Row 1 -> Two or more ............

Am i right by saying this?
