Hi,
My University degrees title (Inxhinieri Informatike), direct translation to english (by the certified translator) is - "Informatics Engineering".
"Informatics Engineering" or "Engineering Informatics" is the direct translation from many southern European languages of an engineering discipline most commonly known in English as Computer Engineering.
In my Diploma Supplement (the university english transcript of subjects and grades), my University has translated it as "Computer Engineering".
Even google translate, translates it as Computer Engineering.
Now the question is obvious. How should I refer to it for WES ECA? Should I ask the translator to change it to Computer Engineering, to be in line with the Diploma Supplement issued by the University?
Your opinion on this would be very much appreciated.
