Hi,

I have just started my ECA process. Per the new rules since Dec 2018, WES will accept documents only from institutes and not from applicants. However on the WES site, in the required document section, there is a mention that the Final/Provisional Certificate of the degree has to be provided by the applicant to WES. Can someone confirm if they sent Final certificates for their degrees directly to the WES and got their respective institutes to send transcripts/ statement of marks?

Yes. You are correct. Just send a fax or post copy of your degree certificate to Wes quoting WES reference number and ask your uni to send your transcript to Wes directly.
There is a app call fax.plus in play store which is free and you can send fax to Wes number mentioned in their website just by clicking photo photo from your mobile. WeS would accept the degree certificate. No worries there . All the best !!

I had sent my degree certificate by myself along with the WES reference number whereas the transcript was directly sent from my university
