ECA evaluation for SCDL degree [2015-2017]

Hi,
As of January 2020, IQAS has stopped accepting new applications for evaluation until May 2020. Also, the ICAS website doesn't seem to be working. Has anybody gotten their SCDL PGDBA degree evaluated from any other organization successfully? I am not sure if CES [Comparative Education Service – University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies] does SCDL. Any information would really help

Hi, I am on the same boat, and looking for answer, the other option could be https://www.icascanada.ca/new/immigration-to-canada.aspx , but I am not so sure, if someone has recently got the evaluation done?

the ICAS webpage doesn't load and gives out the error: "ICAS’s system is currently processing a large volume of applications. Please try again later.". That's the reason wanted to see if somebody had success with CES.

By CES you mean university of Toronto ( https://learn.utoronto.ca/comparative-education-service)? What I am aware of that WES does might not do for SCDL, But have to get a confirmation on same?
I am looking forward if someone can provide more inputs on this where any 2 year distance learning course was evaluated by WES and what was that equivalent for?

Yes, that is what I meant by CES. ICAS is taking too long for their evaluation, that got me looking for other options. Wondering if anybody has successfully got their SCDL PGDBA evaluated by CES.

Hi Guys, I am also on the same boat, but my acadamic session in SCDL for pursuing PGDBA is 2017-2019 and looking for answer, there total are 5 options for ECA. Out of which WES doesnot recognise SCDL. I have done bit of research over rest options which are as follows:

1. Comparative Education Service (CES) by University of Toronto
Processing Time-14 Weeks
Conclusion- Not Rejects SCDL (https://learn.utoronto.ca/comparative-education-service/apply-now/new-applicants/country-document-requirements?_ga=2.225280154.1242843491.1580367717-1572234971.1580367717#academic-document-tool)

2.International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS)
Processing Time- 23 Weeks
Conclusion- Closed upto May19, 2020 but recognise SCDL as per experience shared by candidates (https://www.alberta.ca/iqas-immigration.aspx)

3.International Credential Assessment Services of Canada (ICAS)
Processing Time-30 Weeks
Conclusion- I am not so sure

4.International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES)
Processing Time-20 Weeks
Conclusion- Not Accepting SCDL (https://www.bcit.ca/ices/eca/requirements/i.shtml)

could be https://www.icascanada.ca/new/immigration-to-canada.aspx , but I am not so sure, if someone has recently got the evaluation done?

I am sending my docs to ICAS. They take a long time, I think I read somewhere they do accept SCDL.

My immigration consultant suggested me to ask the SCDL that "Which ECA agency contact them for issuing Transcripts?". After that we need to take decision for ECA. They told me that SCDL guide/help us on this matter rather than experimenting and wasting time of 8-10 months with money.

Hi All,

I have paid the fees to ICAS for ECA of SCDL PGDBA 2015 batch completed in 2018. Awaiting transcripts from SCDL. Will update here once I send the transcripts to ICAS.

I have already sent my set of copies of degree and marksheet to ICAS.

I have got a message from WES that they want to ensure that my degree and documents are valid and to ensure it they have sent it to SCDL by mail and email both. and they told me that they are waiting for the university to reply and then only they will proceed and any delay from the university will cause the delay in them processing my WES.

Well, I am not sure how much time SCDL will take to respond such a request, but anyone else has any similar experience kindly let me know what has happened in your case and how much time usually scdl has taken to reply.
also do i need to contact SCDL in these type of cases?>

HI - I did PGDIT from SCDL in 2009 and WES did not recognize it as Qualifications for Master. Does any one did evaluation from CES or other valid educational agency that came clean for SCDL degree or IMT Ghaziabad distance learning PGDBM?
