That would make sense as the lady said I had passed PCC. Eligibility and Security was remaining. But then the details provided in the link say otherwise. Maybe its a case by case thing.

As much I understand the steps, the security is the last step in the eligibility. Until, all steps are passed the eligibility remains open and its not complete/pass.

From my GCMS, I passed the medicals, background, criminality and security was pending when GCMS were generated. After few days my background status changed to in progress last Friday and yesterday evening I got the PPR email. There is nothing in my CIC account and I just received the email on my personal email account to submit the passport, photographs and Annex A.

Got PPR on October 4th around 7pm in my email account not CIC account.

AOR April 1st, 2017
CEC inland

This is wrong. Criminality (PCC) is done before A11.2. It is the security or Background check that is done after. If you pass criminality it means you are not yet at eligibility (A11.2).
Yes. Read carefully mate. I mentioned BG which is done after criminality. CIC Agent mentioned that particular applicant completed BG which implies criminality, medical and Agent A11.2 are also done. VO final review (vo eligibility) and security might be pending.

I called them after waiting for 200 days to pass. Be prepared to wait for 30-40 minutes. My call was 45 minutes. I am FSW/O. They told me that my background check is done and medicals have been cleared. Security checks and document eligibility has not yet been started. If I'm not mistaken this basically means that I still have 80% or more work remaining to be done on my documents. My medical is supposed to expire in Feb. I don't see anything happening before that(maybe beyond that too). The only solace is that I don't have to obtain PCCs again.
Nothing to worry mate. You will get PPR soon.

Hello all, I am a Jun AOR and still waiting :-(
I tried checking the status of my application on CIC "On-line services" page, but my application is not being found by the search.... However, I emailed CPC-CTD and they said that my application is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa as per regulatory timeline and that they can't confirm when my file will be ready for finalization... I AM in IP2 sunce August...
Any thoughts on what is going on here...?
Thank you!

In the PPR email they say that the passport should be valid for at least 6 months and have at least 2 blank pages.

If your passport is expiring on June 20th, it should work.

Dear Friends
I just phoned the agent. She said that may take even a year! I'm really frustrated!
I'm stuck in security check!
AOR: March 9th
It's almost 206 days!
Still no PPR!
I asked what I could do? She said nothing!
Just waaaaait!
Does anyone have any ideas to help me?!

Thank you KASK. From what I figure I am at step 10. That means I am probably stuck at checks because of multiple countries I have visited. Maybe.

In my case, I think I’m at step 8 going to steps 9 and 10. My rep told me that the LVO claimed that my application is still on queue for the review of a visa officer, but timeline wasn’t mentioned. I’m also quite worried about the security checks cos I just recently got back few weeks ago.

How can I figure it out by gcms notes?
I think it doesn't say how long the security check will take.
