DUI CASE ( Can it affect the SPONSOR ELIGIBILITY? )

First time my partner had a DUI Case will it affect our sponsorship? Like the Case has all been dealt with. Fines are already paid and has almost 2 years ago. Just worried about if it will affect my Sponsors Eligibility assessment. Hoping i will get answers from here. Thank you in advance.

It would be a problem for the sponsor if s/he were a PR of Canada (not a citizen), since they would now be at risk of losing their own PR.

I was just pointing out a scenario where it would [likely] be a problem, in case there are others with the same question but their sponsor is not a citizen.
