To all the SHARJAH Driving License holders
Please note that after collecting your Driving Experince letter from sharjah muroor in ARABIC , do not waste your time and money to get it translated in English as UAE legal translation is NOT accepted here in Canada.
I had to go through this process and had a disappointment after applying at the Driving Institute in Ontario. They will ask for a new Legal Translation from Arabic to English in Canada again and it is done by Association of Translators & Interpretors in Ontario (ATIO). Check their website .
Charges vary from one tanslator to another , it costed me CAD 35 .
For all those members who have got the letters in English-Arabic both from their respective RTOs like Dubai or Abudhabi , NO need to worry. It is accepted AS IT IS.

I took the experiance Certi from Dubai today . very simple process and the full letter is in english ONLY nothing written in Arabic.
Only if u take from Sharjah this issues

Hey, How about joining me in a "group-meet" with Biju, somewhere in 1st week of Sep-2011 ?

I'm trying to touch-base with other members here, for the same, we might be able to organize another meet then... what's your situation? Can u take an off from the Co-Op?

'Coz, we might have to do so on a weekday... the only weekend that falls within Biju's residing days here is a 'long-weekend' -- and many members wouldn't be available [gone on long drives !].

We might make it in Airport Bukhara-Malton or India Taste-Brampton itself, rather than our usual Earth Indian Rest. of Yonge/Finch. What say?

I got a job offer with the same company im working now. It would be easier for me to start ;D, only thing a problem now is to look for an apartment. We are landing on 15 September 2011.

Thank you for all the help in this Forum. I gained a lot of knowledge and help me to go through the process of immigration.

Hi Qorax,

My friend got approved by FSW Centralized Intake office yesterday. A file number & UCI number were issued to him by CIO in email.

The mail say that, they will send the application to the visa office (LN, UK) for further processing. And asking to update the visa office if any change happened since the application to CIO.

But no dead line given in the mail. No link or instruction about further processing/submission seen. Also the CIC site is not giving much about post CIO, submission to visa office .

My friend had submitted the full application to CIO except police certificates.

Please advice, is it required to submit the whole application again including original experience letters (Its difficult to get once again), forms, bank statements and other supporting documents to the LN visa office ?

Or can he just send the police certificates with the file number and UCI number?

U don't need to submit anything to your VO nowadays... the complete file goes to them directly from CIO - once u get the PER. U may await their call for the PCC.

You mentioned that your status was recevied by visa officer before it turned to IN PROCESS? and it probably took one year in this transition. why is it different with me? My status was "IN PROCESS" the day i got the 2nd AOR. you also mentioned that when you clicked and see the details, it ws same as bf.. if you dont mind, can you pls copy/paste exact details here ???

My e-status was Received by visa office!!!!!!!!!!!! before it turns to IN PROCESS.... when i click the icon of in process the inner details are same as before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. so i was just wondering that what exactly it means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........!! Like rather the ackground check is complete or yet to start once it in process.. Qorex told me that your back ground check get started!!!!!!!!

please advise regarding those matter
1. i have 2 kids and spouse migrationg with me, do i need to fill the application form IMM0008 Dep .it says any deppendants more than 5 five only.
2. what educational documents required for my kid doing second std.
3. i may apply only sep 15 only, is it possible get into the cap 3131.
4. my wife's place of birth is different in passport from birth certificate , is it okay a affidavit to convince cic.
5. do need to send whole passport copy or only the first and last page is ok?
6. I have university transcript notorized copy not in sealed envelop. is it okay or not?
