Hello future Canadians, based on your experiences, if Abu Dhabi VO received my passport last September 17 for visa stamping, when can I expect it back. Thank you in advance seniors.

I am a newbie as you can see

I have one very important question, I am an Egyptian citizen living in the United Arab Emirates,

I first wanted to ask: Would I be asked to submit my birth certificate and my marriage certificate as my wife will be coming to me as a souse?

Second, I also wanted to ask my birth certificate and my marriage certificate are both in arabic but stamped and attested from everywhere you can think of. Would CIC require me translate them both in to English? If so can I do that here in the UAE or do I have to go back to Egypt for this?

I'm Egyptian too , so this is my personal experience and it should work for your ....
Yes , you can translate the documents here and send it to CIC, they will actually return your birth certificate to you.And it's a must to be translated in Arabic...
They have asked me as well on my military clearance certificate, just translate it and send them a photo copy . they didn't ask for originals
You can as well do the PCC الفيش from the Egyptian consulate in UAE , they will take a month , it's advisable to do it now , CIC accepts them as long as they are less than one year ( is sent them an expired one , but less than a year and they accepted it , and i said that i haven't visited Egypt Since that date)

Yes, no issues, but try to land as early as possible, because of un-certinities.

Hi Guys,

This is Hussain with you from Abu Dhabi. I have got a job offer from a Canadian employer recently. He is finished the process of advertisement and applied for the LMIA in mid of September and the result assessment is expected in 4-8 weeks. My dilemma is what visa category should I apply whether I should go for Work permit or Express entry for PR as the visa processing time according the CIC website from Abu dhabi is almost similar for both the categories.
Would appreciate if you guys can provide your inputs on this.

How long do I have from the day the passport is requested to submit the passport? I'm asking because my application shows "decision made", which means that it's likely the passport will be requested soon, but I also need to apply for renewal ofof my UAE resident visa soon. Please help

with in 60 days from the date of email to last date vo must receive passports. plus u can extend and request for 30 days in case of any emrgency
