When I read Josh posts upon Qorax recommendation, I must admit my enthusiasm drastically went down. I printed it, and gave it to my wife. My wife asked me, " Are we still going to push through?" I told her "Yes, we will. Nothing has changed on our plan".

Today, I then read the Dubai vs Canada posts, it is encouraging. I will show it again to my wife :).

Actually, I already set my mind in doing any kind of work if in case our application is granted. I do not mind doing the dirty works.

hi skyrainph

Have you selected the NOC Code that the Primary applicant will be applying under ? Have you checked what is the corresponding NOC CAP Status for the NOC you wish to apply ?

1112 Financial and investment analysts has capped.
1111 Financial auditors and accountants is currently 450
3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses is currently 613

Please verify the latest estimates here:

CAP Can be verified here:

Thanks Nishesh. My wife will be the principal applicant although I am the one doing most of the research and filling up forms. She will be applying under 3011 since she is currently a nursing supervisor.

PS. I removed the links because a pop message is appearing saying that I am not allowed to post links.

National ID is the ID for your country of 'citizenship/domicile' and not the ID of your current country of residence. If you are not a Citizen of UAE (i believe not) then you should not be using it. Write 'N/A'

If your children are currently 'residing' in Dubai under your sponsorship then their current country of residence will be UAE.

Thanks.

What is the status am I going to put for my kids?
Citizen-of course we are not
Permanent resident - our residence visa here is just temporary
Visitor-they have residence visa under me
Worker-nope
Student-nope
Protected person-nope
Refugee claimant-nope
Foreign national
Other

It's either I will put Other or Foreign National. Please advise

Kabayan,

I think it should be foreign as they are not worker like us nor visitor..

Piece of advice, please finished your application as fast as you can, I believe CIC will only process FSW applicant up to december 31st of this year, anything after that will be on Express Entry(EE) program already.. If you think you would not be able to finished everything by 31st then better be prepare for EE which will be an online process.

Thanks. Yes, we will not be able to finish everything by Dec 31. We might as well prepare for the EE program.

CAP wise you have a very good chance as 3011 is only at 14.

I am still assuming that FSW 2014 will continue beyond December 31st 2014 as there is still nothing published by CIC in black and white that suggests it won't.

Therefore go ahead and good luck !

The status should be 'other' and then you put a brief description in the provided space.

Hi Kabayan,

I just received my passport today from AUH VO, The one that you saw is the "decision made" update from my eCAS after i got the passport request from LVO. It took me exactly 10 working days since i pass my PP to AUH VO.

My timeline is actually misleading.. just to avoid confusions i update it with the correct ones ;D
