Hi Seniors please confirm that Status in the country of residence to be mentioned Worker.

Also I was initially on spouse visa and later got work visa. So should the From date should be from my first residence visa or from my first work visa. Please advise!

Started schooling 1976 to 1988 Matriculation
88-90 Higher Secondary
90-93 Bachelors Degree

If you're working then your status is 'Worker'.
Date should be your entry into UAE on a permanent Visa i.e. Family or Work Visa.

Dear Petesilvo , Pls specify which visa office did u specify ? if Passport was submitted in Abu-Dhabi visa office it will be out within 3 working days maximum . We have got within one week .

May be u must have specified wrong delivery address , u can try to track by awb number and see .

My visa office is LVO, but the embassy responsible for the visa stamping is AUH. I made sure the address is accurate as i filled it out in person as per the address i was provided by LVO. Checked with aramez at origin and destination to confirm and was assured it was by the delivery signature.

I've sent an CSE to LVO and an email to my visa officer yesterday to confirm.. still haven't heard back though. I read on another thread of a similar case since November 11th.. so a few might be in the same loop..

Wow almost a month for petesilvo... but some got it back after 3 days. you cant really tell? i think after the prescribed period of 10 working days as written in the letter, we can start ff up right?

It's stated that it takes 10 working days. But one can only follow up if not heard from aramex after 4 weeks.. hence the wait before sending a case specific enquiry to my visa office.

There at least 3-4 people here who have sent their pps last week and have not yet received it back along with the COPR. i guess, this batch is taking a bit of time. all sent it through aramex. keeping my fingers crossed

My wife and I are planning to migrate to Canada. Upon checking the requirements and forms to be filled up, I'm kind of overwhelmed. Nevertheless, my wife and I painstakingly filled up the details and start to gather the documents. We are a long way to go from here as we need to take IELTS, EAC, reference letters, etc.

It's comforting that I have found this forum after trying to search on how to fill up some of the forms. I find the posts informative, encouraging and that sense of unison in helping others.

We will be needing a lot of help from everyone around here.

On the Generic application form (IMM 0008), I do not know what status shall I put on Question 13: Current country of residence for my 2 kids (less than 4 years old) who were born here in Dubai.

National Identity Document question - I tried to put the Emirates ID details but I cannot find any issue date on my Emirates ID. Shall I leave the issue date blank?

Have you selected the NOC Code that the Primary applicant will be applying under ? Have you checked what is the corresponding NOC CAP Status for the NOC you wish to apply ?

1112 Financial and investment analysts has capped.
1111 Financial auditors and accountants is currently 450
3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses is currently 613

National ID is the ID for your country of 'citizenship/domicile' and not the ID of your current country of residence. If you are not a Citizen of UAE (i believe not) then you should not be using it. Write 'N/A'

If your children are currently 'residing' in Dubai under your sponsorship then their current country of residence will be UAE.

If your 2 kids are in Dubai then the country of residence is UAE.
&
National Identity is very ID issued by your Country of Origin i.e. India, Pakistan etc. Should not leave any cell blank as the application would not accept the validation.
