Coulsd you please advise, if you have made the Draft from Pakistan or Dubai, and from which bank, specially if from Pakistan what is the procedure. I am confused as to make the DD from Dubai or Pakistan.

I made draft from Abudhabi commercial bank, Mina road branch. Alfardan no more making draft in Canadian dollers. Further in pakistan it is very difficult to make such draft. Please do it in Dubai, even you can not get Canadian dollers easily in exchange companies.

To do financial transaction UAE is better option.......regards

Dear all,
I submitted my papers to vision office. I got 7 over all ielts 7.5 L 7 R 7 S 6 W
the agent said I can claim 16 points for that!!!!! I believe it should be 21 points, am I right??
Moreover I have 3.5 years experience in nursing... How many points I will get for that???

You assess yourself for points in education, age, experience and then take the balance points for IELTS

Will it be a good idea to take some gold instead of Cash or Draft. Because I am not authorise to make a TC of more than 15K from my country. The minimum fund requirement will be managed. But for my additional sum I am planning to buy some gold.

Can you please anyone suggest?

Hi all,
I did the medical in Jan 2013, but till now the online status shows “your application reviewed and process started in March 2012” it is since last one year.

No other comment... even it is not mentioned the medical issued...

I want to know why it is taking too much time for PPR?

If my medical have any problem when I will come to know?

During the medical my blood pressure was high then doctor asked for further checkup. In further checkup ECG & Echo did it was found clear also I got a clearance letter from cardiologist, which is attached in my medical report.

Hello! This is Ashish (Main Applicant) here from Dubai (UAE) working in Dubai from last 7 years (5 Years as Jewellery Showroom Manager & 2 Years as HR & Admin Manager). Nationality: India, Age: 33 Years, Marital Status: Married. Ethnicity: Hindu (Gujarati). Educational Qualification: B.COM. I have applied for Permanent Residence Visa outside Canada under Federal Skilled Worker category now my question is my application was received by CIC on 26th April 2012 & they have started processing it on 23rd January 2013, so my question are as below.

a. Within how many days I can expect my acknowledgement letter?
b. After receiving acknowledgement letter with in how many days my interview & medical will be arranged?
c. Should my Wife have to go for an interview?
d. My Employment is already arranged in Ontario & my scores for IELTS are Listening 5.0, Reading 4.0, Writing 5.5, Speaking 5.5 Total Overall Band Score is 5.0 which was cleared in October 2011, will my same IELTS result be considered or I need to reappear again for my IELTS exams?
e. What all documents I need to take along with me for an interview?
f. What will happen if the application copies are not kept with me?
g. My application was done through my Consultant in Ontario so is there any chances of rejecting my application?

Please do answer my questions so that I should keep myself prepared.
