Dear Mr. Qorax

As you know I already got my visa and i am planning to take a flight to Toronto in end of Feb 2013.

I need your help in order to keep my PR form ready before I land at POE.

There is a few questions/fields confusing me as below:

No. 2 Date you become permanent resident of Canada. ??? (is this my visa issue date from LVO) ?

No. 16. Place you become permanent resident of Canada ?? (is this my city where i currently lived ie sharjah )?

apart of above there are more things which seems that PR form IMM5444E is more for people who already living in Canada or left Canada few months/years back.

Please advice as I need to fill this PR form for myself, spouse and child who is under 8 years.

many thanks in advance brother.

Kindly advice me and

PR Cards' Application Form IS NOT REQUIRED.
It'd be filed automatically, online, as part of the landing process, by the BSO handling ur case at the Canadian POE.

Anyone got a driving experience letter from Sharjah Police and was accepted in Canada?

please let me know.
Thanks a lot.

It needs a legal translation, to be done here by a Canadian Translator - who is approved by DriveTest Canada, and then it's acceptable. Many have done so.

Thanks Qorax you are a Star :) We appreciate your guidance and time for us :)

I put current country of residence as UAE

dear qorax,

In filling-up gen app form IMM-0008 question nos. 10 and 13 (for dependents) Current Country of Residence; what shall I put under status? For a person like you who's also from Dubai, stamped visa in the passport states that its "residence" but comes with an expiry date. If I select "permanent resident" from the status options, the validity dates greys out. Should it be more appropriate to put "worker" as the status? and what for the dependent children under my sponsorship?

Same form, but question no.1 for dependent's educational/occupational detail; i know this may sound funny but I just wanna make sure im answering all the questions correctly Tongue, my son's in KG, should I put "none" in his highest educational attainment, or otherwise? Grin

In proof of admission, since im applying thru London VO because of my current residence being in dubai UAE, my visa will be expiring on dec2013, would this suffice their requirement?

thank you for the help!

I have created the following website to help New and Existing Canada Immigrants to find all the information they need in a single location. I am still working on to update this site. Please do let me know what information I can add to this site to make it more useful.

Please feel free to check it

Thanks

thank you sir for the reply. Yes, I put the country of residence as UAE but the "status" options have the following items to choose from: permanent residence, worker, citizen, student, others, etc...

If i choose "permanent residence" the validity dates greys out, so if im not mistaken (please guide me if im wrong), choosing "worker" would be appropriate enough as per my understanding that UAE "residence visa" is issued under the sponsorship of the company the individual is working for. But what for my kids?

thanks in advance ;D

No problems whatsoever... I bring in more than that (in Cash) while returning from my each trip.
