Dear !

I had my decision made before my passport reached LVO. ( Nov 25th 2012 )
Yet to receive them back.
Canadian address also appeared last week but Passport's have not yet been received.

Probably Christmas and New Year holidays added to the delay but this is for your info.
I am in Dubai as well.

Case to case sometime DM happens before PP are received sometime after visa is issued.
Correct me if I am wrong seniors.

Hi!

You will have it mentioned on the letter / email the time frame for you to send it to them. Usually everything within 60 days from the date of the letter / email.

But please check with seniors.

Congrats. Thats a gud news. Can you please share whether u have been requested for earlier for document update? Also did u received 6 to 12 months wait letter?

Just checked with ARAMEX. They have confirmed the passport receipt from AUH Canadian Embassy and will be delivered today.
So, the wait finally ends.

Would like to thank everyone on the forum for their help and I will still contribute in my own way to the members who are in the process of completing formalities.

Thank you Qorax, Bestpal, Dubaiite and all other who have been a part of my journey. We shall cross paths in Canada now.

I would say that you shd continue exploring Canadian Universities for your son as an International student. By the time you have to pay the fees or even after he joins, you would have completed yr PPR n Landing and then the status will automatically change without him hopping Univ or country. Saying all this from personal exp. my kid too joined as Int student at a YYZ Univ in Dec 2011, n as u know I got through the PPR stage now! (No disruption in studies except that I ended up paying Int fees for a year)!

I have a positive feeling that God willing we will party in Toronto this year itself!
