Hubby and I are planning to submit our application for CSQ before end of March 2013. Before we do, I'd like to ask for your kind advices if we are calculating our points correctly so as not to waste money for an application that will just be outright rejected.

Here are our details:

Husband:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (4 yrs. from Phils.)
Areas of Training : Listed under Section B (12 points) - Com. Sci- Bach. 3 yrs.
Employment offer : None
Work Exp. : Hubby - 6 years
Age : 29 years
Language Prof. : Hubby - IELTS 6.5 (overall band score)
French: none
Stay & family in Quebec: none

Spouse (Me):
Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (4 yrs. from Phils.)
Areas of Training : Listed under Section B (12 points) - Com. Sci- Bach. 3 yrs.
Employment offer : None
Work Exp. : 2+ years
Age : 29 years
Language Prof. : IELTS 8.0 (overall band score)

Please, please...if someone can calculate what points we have so that I may compare it to my own calculations and decide whether or not it is wise to submit an application for CSQ, I would truly be grateful! Oh and by the way, we are located in Dubai

I got an email in reply of my enquiry about my PPs at LVO.

" Dear Applicant"

Your Passports are due to be sent to our Abu Dhabi office and then from there our collegues will send you via Aramex which will be delivered to you and will charge you, please give some extra time for this. "

What do you think guys how long I should wait more to get the PPs and what does mean by VO that my PPs are due to be sent ? is it means visa has been printed/issues ? as they did bother to disclose this visa issues or not to me even I asked them twice !

Just need to understand my waiting time and above !!! Trust me to wait for PPs its more painful to wait for entire process to finish !!!!

I cant understand what is the secret in telling the applicant that yes your visa has been stamped and Passports are ready to be delivered to you!!! Why this CHC keep actual thing in secret ????? anyway we are going to be canadian one day so treat us like one of you !!!!!

My suggestion is now to wait for your passport to come back. The VO has no personal gains by holding your passport back.
If you have enquired before, then please don't irk them by sending reminders as they also have thousands of applicants along with you to take care of.

They will certainly send you your PP as soon as the visa is printed. By the VO mentioning that your PP is due to be sent it certainly means that the PP is still with them and visa stamping is under process ( may not be stamped yet ).

Patience my friend. Just hold on for a few more days to see your passport with the Canadian Visa stamped on it. You will definitely relish the moment.

I am baout to send my ppt to lvo,but what service to choose from dhl, shall i pay for one way delivery from abu dhabi to london or also arrange to pick it after lvo finishes with the ppt, how is the procecure plz"........also how many days it takes to reach london. .....also how much to pay for three sending three passports.

Send your passport with one way delivery as while sending it back the LVO will send it to AUH Embassy and they deliver it via Aramex.
Thats my honest 2 cent opinion.
It takes 1/2 days for delivery.
I sent it via TNT and it costs 148.00 AED for 2 passports in a single package. So 3 passport should be charged the same as its calculated on the basis of weight of the package and not the no. of passports.
Do not know about other company charges but should be in the same range.

DHL 365 AED/ Package within 1kg
TNK 148 AED/ Package within 1kg
Skyexpress 60 TO 80 AED/ Package within 1kg (forwarding by DHL)

I use skyexpress always and the document is always delivered by DHL withing 1 to 2 days. (www.skyexpress.ae)
I still don't know the link between these two companies but it works, i have been using it for 1 year now.

I personally have seen some people with same timeline as urs on this forum whose VO is JMR, they also got similar response as urs,
My VO is JMR, I did my medicals early last month and enquired last week from JMR, the response was " your file is currently under background check,
I hope it got nothing to do with the VO, lets hope everything speeds up for our own good,

Egale, though I understand your frustration well, please remember that the VOs are also human beings and they are led by a standard operating procedure which they are to follow. In the case processing environment, it is rear to have someone who is "very slow" or "very fast". There are many externalities which make the VOs dependent on several other agencies, especially before the PPR stage. What good is it to "Goddam" him? Instead, if you could wish him well, I am sure you will be the happiest when your PPR comes, without feeding into the negativity.

You can not imagine what i am in and what is suspended it is very personal but enough to say it make my live unstable and tunbling many persons git their ppr in two or three month and you are telling me to forgive how could that come . In my job they do not fiorgive how can i be soft with others i want my right
