Between April 2011 to March 2012 LVO processed 5,060 cases of MI-1 and rejected 3,683 :( at an approval rate of 27%. Approval rate for new streams (MI-2 and MI-3 is more than 90%).

80% of the cases were processed within 29 months.

What is the FSW ( MI2& MI3) in this data? if these are the people who applied in before july 2011 and got PER after July 2011?
what's your idea?

Hi friends,
I have 3 questions -
1) After landing in Vancouver I will be there for 3 weeks. How much time will it take for me to get the Health Insurance?
2) If I apply for G2 license and get it,then if I stay outside the country for 6 months, and come back after that will I get the G license ?
3) Since I am in Vancouver, going across the border to Seattle will be easy after the PR card?Do I still need US VIsa if I have PR Card to go across to Seattle?

1) Im not sure about the Health Insurance in Vancouver, but here in Ontario, once you applied for Health Insurance, it takes up 3 months to received the card and be able to use it.
2) Once you come here, you have to apply for G1 (which is written exam), next step apply for G2 (road test) and apply for G, it's not automatically that you get G. You still have to pay each test to get it.
3) going across the border to any USA states requires USA Visit Visa, unless you have those passports that visa on arrival.

:)

Hi,

Pls read this:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cheapest-best-phone-internet-in-canada-t93418.0.html

That internet is by far the cheapest in Canada [$42.99/month]... and the homephone is the most cost-effective one. Unfortunately u'd not be able to take 'only' the internet as it's permitted only to the homephone subscriber. However, the homephone can be taken as standalone.

1. MSP [Medicare] has mandatory wait pds in BC. Which is the bal of month + 2 months. Pls see the link below.
2. With a Dxb-LOA [of 2-yrs] u r permitted one chance to get "direct 'G", all wait pds r waived. Else, u can take the G2 & then G anytime.
3. Unless u r from a 'visa-exempt' nation -- u'd require US visitor's visa to enter the US. Canadian PRs have no spl concession.

Note: As of July 1, 2012, CIC has temporarily stopped accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will likely start accepting applications again when the revised FSWP selection criteria take effect. Proposed FSWP changes should come into force in early 2013.

1. It's not a MLM company.
2. The services r thru Bell-Canada.
3. What difference does it make to the end user as long as the product is good & cheap?
4. We all, members of my google-group [most from this forum as well], use it. And r deeply satisfied.
