As per my opinion , you wont require to UK visa for Transiting thru UK. Pls. read earlier blog entries with regards to the same

For by transit(toursit visa) of UK,on the way to Vancouver for our landing, I have 2 options
1) get invite from my brother in law who is in UK on a project of IBM.He is there for over 2 yrs but he is not a permanent resident or citizen.Will his invite be sufficient?
2) Option 2 is to book a Hotel and cancel it later after UK visa is issue.Will this be fine.
We are a family of four.Please if any one has any idea on this then please let me know.

I would suggest u to follow 2 option,its hassle free and we did same way for UK tourist visa from dubai couple of yrs ago.
From which country u would b applying.

I got the waiting letter also today. Its a standard letter to wait for 6 to 12 months.

Well dear am new at all this applying stuff. Well at the moment am working with Etisalat as customer support officer or u can say customer service officer in Dubai. My qualification is BBA.
I called up global visas for this issue they said for customer service person it is not possible to migrate to canada. Later he said it is possible by 85% that is u apply by program called I guess IES something. It is like I have to pay them 7000 AED & they will take my CV n all docs & rewrite my CV as the need of Canada recruitment company. So that later I’ll be getting an offer letter so I’ll be getting WORK PERMIT thing. They seems to be a FRAUD. I have no idea what to do & where to apply, Am so NEW to diz & so LOST :-[ ???

Dont get trapped into this fraudulent.....

You need to visit the CIC website and first determine in which NOC your professional fits ( NOC = Occupation List as per Canada)
