It's too early for that.... Expect it around 3-months from the date ur meds were sent. Usually they reflect MR on e-CAS only after ur security clearance is obtained. And as Yousuf & Nicholas correctly stated - sometimes it might not show up till after DM.

Hi all of you guys,

Thanks for the explanation as we are very much anxious to get there (canada) as soon as possible.

Hi Saad,

Do you know the main reason of your refusal?

Tnx
Yes, I received refusal e-mail from VO stating that I was able to secure only 64 instead 67 points. Visa officer gave me 17 out of 21 points for experience under NOC 4131 and 20 out of 25 for 4 years Engineering. I am a professional engineer with total 9 years' experience from which 4 years in HSE trainings (4131), I have no idea how many years of experience would give 21/21 points?

This Canada PR is all shit luck nothing else...if these UK people decide whom to choose; honestly speaking education, experience etc is not required only luck...dam lottery system..!!!

I am so fed up of see these post where people are totally fit for the PR and the dam visa officer refuses the file because of Dum reasons..!!!

My advice fight for your file take a lawyer screw these consulate agencies they just need money for everything and cannot do shit.

Hi Qorax / Seniors,

I applied as FSW under NOC 4131 on 04/04/2010 and got in-process status on 08/03/2011 with RBVO. On 17/04/2012 my e-status changed to DM and on 19/04/2012 I received refusal e-mail from VO stating that I was able to secure only 64 instead 67 points. I got 17 out of 21 points for experience under NOC 4131 and 20 out of 25 for 4 years Engineering degree. I am a professional engineer with total 9 years' experience from which 4 years in HSE trainings (4131).

Please guide me what's the criteria for calculating the experience point.
How do I ask visa officer to reconsider my points if there is some error in his calculation.

Please reply to my questions if anyone had such experience. Is there any chance to get my case reconsider by VO and how do I proceed for reconsideration appeal?

Regards,
Saad0411

Just to update that today i have also recvd (what I call is interim) letter from London office which says I am eligibile for further processing and not to contact VO for next 12 months.

This is similar to what was posted by Mona a month back... and Rlex your guess was right and so the capt. words.

Well the last point is that the letter says the case is subject to admissibilty check. Can anyone tell what the VO would have done so far on cases like this and what could have been left to be check?

Congratulations :)
It is your turn Rlex...wish you get the same letter soon

Saad0411, sad to hear this but pl consider your # of years too.

Example: 2. If an applicant has a four-year bachelor’s degree and 16 years of education, an officer
would award 20 points, as a single two, three, or four-year university credential at the bachelor’s level,
combined with at least 14 years of full-time study, is worth 20 points.

If a bachelor’s credential is a prerequisite to the credential, but the credential itself is still considered a first-level degree, then 22 points would be appropriate. It is important to refer to how the local authority responsible for educational institutions recognizes the credential: i.e., as a first-level or second-level or higher university credential.

You may write a letter to seek 22 points if above meets.

For your experience it looks like that your docs states only 2 years of skill 0 or A & B experience.

question
1 of my friend

got 12 years school education+ 3 years diploma and give him 22 points

how come?

thanks

zak, thats 100% correct - You have a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study. 22 points

Hello everyone,

Today I was checking ecas status for my Canadian immigration under federal skilled worker category (NOC 1111). It is showing DECISION MADE and the following information is mentioned after clicking on it.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 9, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on June 15, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

After waiting for almost more than 3 years I am getting this respone. Feeling very bad.....

I request you all to please guide me in this matter.

pls advice

thanks
Don't understand their system for awarding points i.e for 15 years (12 + 3 yeard diploma) 22 points and for 16 years (12 + 4 Years Degree) 20 points. What an excellent award system.

Dear Sunny,

It could be a system glitch and hope for the best. Meanwhile, contact your consultant to update your status with the VO by sending your Nikaah and other related docs, asap. Be positive and have faith in God.

Best Wishes,
