Hello Guys

Just want to update you people with the email, recieved from CIC, regarding my case !

Below is the extract ;

SO STILL HOPELESS SITUATION :)

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your enquiry. We have received the documents for your spouse.

Your documents have been received and placed on file. No further action is required by you at this time.
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010 ) than originally projected.
During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.
This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed. Because they reflect Canada 's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Hi Arman79

I think the best thing to do is not lose hope. We had applied in May 2007 and got our visa stamped in Feb 2012. It was a bit frustrating at this time last year when quite a few people we knew who had applied around the same time as us started getting their MR and we could only see In Process on our application status. But then we were very hopeful that our app would get processed sooner or later and thanks to God it has !

So Hang in there buddy and I'm sure good news is around the corner

All the best

Greetings to all,

I sent my application for fsw1 on 21 December 2011,ALHAMDULILAH, I got a per and uci number,on 24 feb 2012,my vo is London vo,I am applying from Abu dhabi, under the noc 7242,my question is, does per from cio means my assessment based on noc 7242 is complete and successful and only the vo will handle the security ,medical and visa issues without assessing my work experience and education,my doubts were first the noc I applied under is for trade persons while I hold an engineering degree, and my current job title doesn't match the one for noc 7242 ,industrial technician, but some of the duties in noc 7242,match those in my work experience as I work as instrumentation technician,so my doubt is if CIO gave me per can vo in London reject my case becuz of in compliance between my work experience and noc 7242,my second doubt is that my work experience and academic certificates are all just copies, since I got per from CIO will the vo request the originals or the copies will be enough, and if they request the originals can I just send a certified copy from the public notary,.

What is the next step after receiving per,how long it takes to receive a reply from the London visa office.?

Need ur assistance guys, especially qorax regards to all

Thanks Biju and er2d2g !

I dont know how long still gona take ! surely a disappointing situation but people like you knows how to cheer up and motivate others !

Thanks a lotttttttttttttttttttt !

Good Luck !

Hi Charm28

Congrats in advance for getting the Meds :D.

in a couple of days itself u will receive Meds forms if the action date is Feb13. the delay is due to sending Meds via regular post. some are getting via email and some via regular post. keep checking with consultant coz thy are least bothered in our case once thy receive their fees.

rgd adding timelines. just click on ur name icon which u see (left side) of any post u have done. this takes u to the account page. in tht page u can see 3 heads on the left side - "Profile Info" Modify Profile and 'Actions'. - Under Modify u need to click "Forum Profile Information" Now ur there , add all info :D

God bless and good luck always

Biju

Thanks Biju,
Actually I did that already however, when I go that page there is no Forum Profile Information Under Modify....I'll just update my info once I have that option... Again thanks a lot.
God bless you too :)

To Seniors:

I received my medical request dt 27.01.2012, & also updated form requests/PCC/RPRF.

Under checklist for police certificate, in required space, they have only written 'Current country of residence'. Please note that I'm residing in UAE since a year.

Please guide me do I have to provide them police certificates from my home country also as I earlier provided them till July 2009 only.

Thanks a lot for your guidance.

Just Police certificate from UAE .
