Dear Friends,
Regret could not write earlier than this.
See, if you ask me about my LANDING experience and the country 'Canada', then I can cheerfully say it was fabulous! No doubt about that. The people are unbelievably and extremely friendly there. No discrimination and no racism. And the best bonus is the sense of belonging to that country where you can breathe 'freedom'! It is worth the time we waited and struggled in anxiety. Thank God for the blessings! 8)
Will write later on about my landing experience at the YYZ airport in detail, which was very smooth and memorable.
Two lessons I learnt were :-(and this will be helpful to future immigrants) :
1) Keep and carry the ORIGINAL Invoices of Jewelry that you will be carrying with you whenever and this will be required at the Port of Exit (wherever you are).
2) It is a must that you have a ready evidence for Source of Funds or at least the Exchange/Bank receipt voucher for the CAD$/US $ you will be buying and carrying to CANADA. Because, as I learnt that they want to be sure that it is your own money and not laundered money. 8)
Luckily, I had both with me and that saved me from untold hassles.
Best Wishes,
Bestpal.
