Dear Qorax,

I have an urgent problem. It seems that the embassy in Warsaw has not accepted my waiver request for the PCC of India. They said that the background checks cannot be completed because I haven't provided them with a PCC from India. Please advise what I should do?
Please please reply ASAP.

what was mentioned in your ppr exactly please ? if the requesting of passport that mean they will issue the visa
did they tell you to not sale your properties or quit your job till u got passport back ? can it be rejected after they will send you ppr and ask you for your passprot to issue visa ?

1. Visit the Indian Consulate at Teheran & enquire about the process;
2. If they agree (to issue one, whatever the timeframe be) - u r good;
3. Then write to ur IO giving them the anticipated date by which u'd submit it;
4. If they don't agree (the Consulate) - note the date, timing, name & desig. of staff u met...
5. Then write to ur IO - requesting again for a 'waiver' - explaining that u tried (give the foregoing details) & state that u've no way of getting it from India.
