Thank you dear. And how much time after that for worker visa. Any idea?

hello
i applied under noc 0631 on june 23rd 2010, my status is still RBVO. i received my CAIPS notes yesterday which says my application has still not been reviewed by a visa officer. my representative also suggests that the only thing i can do is wait until i get further instruction from the embassy, my application is at the london office. As i have been following this forum for a while i see many applicants who have applied during the months of march, april, may and june 2010, their status changed to in process or medicals received or even visa stamped. what should be my next move? when can i expect something? My whole life is on a stand still just because the process is taking too long. please need valuable advice.

Dear Qorax Sir,

I have been troubling you whenever had to get some valuable informations/suggestions.
I am a Dubai applicant, my wife doing residency in MH Islamabad Pakistan. We both done our medicals there on 29th Dec 2011 and results were recieved on 7th Jan. 2012 by CHC London. Now exactly five months passed and no PPR has been received till to-date. My consultantans " premiers" just telling me that it may come any time but can not suggest exact date. My passions are wearing out, pl advise me what shall I do?....simply wait OR else.

With best Regards....qamar

I am on an 'In progess' status with a processing start date; expecting the medical request.

Will the medical request appear online or we need to depend on the consulatnt for this information?

I had the same problem thru Premiers, waited for more than 5 months and they did nothing. Frustrated, I directly got in touch with London CHC and they sent me a mail within 2 days asking me to submit our passports.

Bonjour Canada

@ Rejis bhai,

The Med Request with update forms are sent by ordinary Mail at the address provided. The address that appears on e-case is the one they are going to target. So if it is your consultant's then start eating his/Her brain (if you find any- ;) ;D) )! If it yours (which I doubt) then double check your P O Box Mail!! :)

Best Wishes

Dear Qorax,

Thank you for all the assistance you have given me. I was wondering when I go to canada, and I step foot there, do I have to show my apartment agreement, which is under my name or it is not needed?
Secondly how much money would be enough for me and my husband monthly in Toronto, can you give me an estimate. I dont want a high standard of living should an average one, without buying a car, just 1 bedroom?
what is the cheapest flat in toronto? basement or condos or 1 bedroom flat?
Sorry for these questions, If I want to be an ESl teacher do I obtain any certificate from toronto? If so what are the costs and duration of the certificate. I already have my masters in english from U.K.
I'm just nervous. Thanks in advance.

Toronto - Living costs (a guideline only)

U'd generally be Ok with [size=12pt]$2500-3500 per month.
-House Rent: $700-1300 depending on what/where u locate/chose. Anything less than $700 would be shady!
-Heat & Hydro: If u take a condo, add another $100 a month to the above.
-Cable/Internet/Phone: $125-200 depending ur usage/preferance. Anything less than $125 would be tearsome!
-Conveyance: $100-200 depending on ur efficiency. Anything less than $100 would make u immobile!
-Fuel: Add $200-300 on the above if u have a car. Else u r semi-static... not hapenning 4 u here!
-Auto-Ins.: $400-600 if u buy a car. U may chose not to initially... but down 6 months - u must have [else u might be in deep sh1t]!
-Food: $1200-1700 depending on ur livability. Anything less than $1200 - and u aren't 'alive'!
-Outings: $300-700 depending on ur lifestyle. Anything lesser than $300 would make u socially dead!
-Stationery & consumables: $50-100. Anything less than $50 and u r doing nothing!
-Irregular purchases: $250-400. Anything less than $250 is not happening, here...
-Out-of-pocket expenses: $300-500. Else u r impossible, incorrigible, incognito!
-Kid's welfare: $150-250. If u have kids - u'd understand their addnl requirements!
-Childcare: $300-1000 depending on what u chose [pvt unlicensed to proper daycare]. It'd be if u both work & if kids r minors.
-Misc.: $300-500. U never know from where u'd have a bombshell! If not - it'd be ur safety-net.
