Hi

The experience letter is to fastrack the driving licence process in Canada. Without the experience letter ( more than 24 months driving experience) you need to start from scratch. With what I have read across forums and mainly advice from Qorax with the IDP and the letter I can attempt the G2 directly instead of the mandatory waiting period and can also attempt the G road test.

Trust that helps

er2d2g

Thanks dude... ;)

Thanks......capt.qorax,er2d2g,glairlinez and mmiq.

Mmiq,i applied under noc - 3111& 3112.

Art.

I think CHC would have sent you a letter based on the ecas status unless its a technical glitch

Hi Ja77,
London VO sends your documents via Royal mail. When Emirates post receives it and if you have subscribed to a PO box facility with them then you will receive an intimation to collect letter from post office in your PO box.

London VO sent me back original recommendations and transcripts ( both mine and my wife's).

Regards,
Smikri

Thanks Smikri. Good luck.

In which case, probably u'd neither be able to do so here as well!
Anyway, once u arrive here - get in touch with me and we'd do the needful.

I am sure this won't happen. Previously, I've been a bit low profile because of a very lengthy processing. Now that I have my visas, I am looking forward to socialize more in Canada.

Well thanks and hoping to see you in Canada in near future.

Hi all from Dubai,

It's high time that we start our 'own thread', like others are doing here !!!

I request all to post your timlines here and get connected. Firstly, it will sail us thru on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.

Quite a few of us, in Dubai, are already in touch with each other. Some are thru, some just applied, while some are waiting for our PPRs. Let's expand the network... what do you say buddies ?

Warm regards.

Dear Qorax Bhai,

I landed in 2010 and got the health card for me and my kids. My wife couldn't apply for OHIP at that time. Now we are moving there permenently and I learned from someone that she has to wait for 3 months before she can apply for OHIP as she was out of canada for more than 6 months.

Please respond if it is correct or any source to varify the info. Thanking you.

Best regards

Emo
