as far as i heard its difficult to get a response from CIO NS. many have tried to send emails and got respond saying tht - This is there internal mail ids. this was the one which worked for another member lastly. Now the best thing is to apply for CAIPS. u will come to know the file number and the real status of ur application.

Hey dear Biju ..
well i tried to check the status of application, but i have no ID number or any other mean to use it to check the status as i didn't recieve any thing from CIC .. so i coulldn't check it .. i got that you mean by E-cas the option to check the status of application from the main page in CIC website ..
I also tried to send email to the adress u provide which is; fsw-centralized-intake-office @ cic.gc.ca but got failure notification of delivery, plz check the email and advice if it is correct ..

thanks biju for that wonderful reply....appreciated it so much....i really do'nt know where the mistake started....another question pls, ..where will i send my letter?...is it going to be in london where they have stamped our visas?...on the papers that came to us, there were instructions that if any names or date of birth differs, to return the passports and forms for correction....since it is my son's paper that have errors, do i still have to return back our papers, also?.....i have been calling my agency on what to do but until now all they can answer is that they are still waiting for that reply from CHC...it's already 2 weeks now that i'm waiting on what moves to take....say, how long does it usually takes for CHC to reply to emails? :'(

1. Any one's Visa or COPR has a mistake in the family - all the family members have to return their pps & COPR for amendment in the case file & reIssuance of the visa+COPR.

It's not about one pp having a mistake - it's about the entire PA's file being updated, on the system. Every visa is linked to the other, in a family.

2. Any & every communication of yours requires to be directed to the CHC, your VO.

Request your comments on my situation. Have applied for permanent residence to Canada through a consultant. Fee paid in Aug09 and 1st AOR in Sep09. Documents submited Feb10. Have been informed by the consultant that the appllication fee refund has been received by them from CIC without a refusal. Is this possible, what are the options left..

Hi guys

finally i got by Medical forms today with 90 days time.

it means now CHC london checking ur file again ONLY on the deadline date. ie my addt docu request letter date was 6th july 2010 and deadline was Oct 6th. and now thy issued medicals on Oct 8th.

So now no point we send the documents or anything immediately- thy will take ur file only on the tag date. this slows the process

Heartiest Congratulations!! This is really "breaking news"!!! - "breaking" the deep slumber of CHC-London as I did not see anyone either on this forum or on trackitt receiving medical request in last 4 weeks! So yours is very special and encouraging to all of us who have cases under processing at CHC-London. We hope to get there soon.

A wonderful forum & Polite replies by all experienced people. I am a 2007 (Aug 2007)applicant and had completed by medicals in August 2010. Waiting for PPR. As per other forums the visa issuance has been postponed to dec 2010 / jan 2011. dont know for sure. Just waiting

Dear Biju & all,
I wanted to come and join u guys for the first time but unfortunately on 30th Oct i have a night shift in my company so will not be able to come.
Also I am from Abu Dhabi so after meeting it'll be difficult to come back before 10 pm ( my duty time)..
was desperate to come ,infact meeting with all u guys especially Mr. Captain would have been pleasure but anyways,will meet next time.
