My dear that seems a little too long a wait for the PER after charging, have you written to them / called them?

yes, my consultant sent an inquery two days back. He is based in canada toronto and i was thinking they sent it via registered mail or something else is happening. I am really worried as they deducted my CC and until now no response from them. If ever i cannot get any replies within this month i shall make a call to CIC.

I'm an August 27 applicant and got my PER on December 19. I recently lost my job and have not informed LVO till now. I need your advice on when to inform them so that my application processing doesn't get affected.

Send them CSE ASAP, one should not hide any information from VO, any ways its high time as after the PER next step is your file will go to LVO and further proceedings will take into effect (Hopefully not started the BG check phase, might be still under MI phase) be assured it will not affect your processing.

Hi, Im in the same situation, NOC 3012, Application received September 12, CC charged on December 01, no Per yet. i called to my consultants office and she told me that there are more of her clients in the same situation. So lets wait for the best.

I will be landing Canada next week and I have issue with proof of funds.
No one one in UAE(banks and exchange house) are issuing travelers chq and DD in Canadian dollars.

I am Carrying currency currency (cash) approx $ CAD 10000.
Since I have to show POF around 22k.
Please advise on balance amount.

i have had my DD from UAE, standard chartered bank, or HSBC bank also got one from them before, you can have a DD from your own bank, if you don't have a bank account in that bank they will never give you a DD sadly.

if you don't have a bank account, then try any of your friends, and go with him to his bank, give him the money and he can make a DD in Canadian dollars to you under your name.

Hi Guys,

I was checking "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u" link and found that the FSW applications are being sent to Abu Dhabi office for UAE applicants. Earlier it was London, so does it mean that CIC is trying to speed up the process by assigning local VO?

i believe this has changed with the express entry. not for the old FSW. read the description beside the type of visas.
