Can somebody please advise what way one can demonstrate that he/she will come back after completing studies in Canada while having an immigration application in progress which contradicts the statement clearly.....

Or is there a possiblity that having an application for immigration in process means we do not need to demonstrate that we will come back at all because at some stage we will get immigration for Canada any way....please advise!!

Until the immigration application is not finalized, the Study permit applicant has to show his home ties and has to show that he will return when his study permit expires.

Quote: “An intention by a foreign national to become a permanent resident does not preclude them from becoming a temporary resident if the officer is satisfied that they will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay.” This can come up in a situation where an international student has one intention to apply for a study permit (as a temporary resident) and a second intention to apply for permanent residency.

Quote: This “dual intent’ is not grounds for refusal of the study permit.

Yes, you can get rejection of your Immigration at any point in time. If that does happen then you will be on a temporary visa only which means you have to return back to your home country. So yes home ties are important.

What do they want us to prove exactly? That we won't overstay illegally or we won't extend our stay legally?
