Dual Intent, Proof of funds.

Hello everyone,

Soon I will be off to Canada to visit my partner for a few months.
We're July outland applicants waiting for BGC IP + DM.
I'm British (visa exempt) and so will be visiting under the 'Dual Intent' category.
I have already booked a return ticket.

I've saved a lot for my trip, but I was wondering if anyone knows how much immigration consider 'funds to support oneself while visiting Canada' to be? $1000 per month? $2000 per month?
Also, how do I show this? Print off my online bank statement the morning of my flight?

Hey, what did you end up doing? Were you able to enter with ease? I'll be in the same boat later this year and am trying to prepare and gather information on this stream of entry for my husband.

The border agent was like "what job lets you have 6 months off?lol" and then made me pinky promise not to work until I have my PR.
